Reward Our Heroes Sponsors the 2026 Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce Business Conference
The Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce holds its 2026 Annual Business Conference on Wednesday, September 30, at the Brookfield Conference Center. It's a workforce and business development event, aimed at helping employers build and retain a strong veteran workforce, with resources, networking, and workshops throughout the day.
Reward Our Heroes is proud to sponsor it.
Why We're Involved
John Reuter, founder of the Reward Our Heroes Foundation, is a retired U.S. Air Force veteran who served 18 years with the 115th Fighter Wing, Security Forces, at Truax Field. He's also a Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, a role that puts him in regular contact with veteran business owners across the state working through the same challenges he did when he started his own veteran-owned business.
That's the connection here. This conference isn't a hero-support event in the way a grant or a scholarship is. It's a business conference, built by veterans, for veterans running businesses. Sponsoring it is one more way the Foundation backs the people it exists to serve, not just the ones facing a crisis, but the ones building something.
Wisconsin is home to more than 55,000 veteran-owned businesses, generating over $20 billion in annual sales statewide. The WVCC exists to help those businesses connect, grow, and stay strong. That mission runs parallel to why Reward Our Heroes exists.
About the Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce
The WVCC supports veteran-owned and veteran-friendly businesses across Wisconsin through networking, advocacy, and workforce development programs. Membership is open to businesses of all sizes, not just veteran-owned ones. More information is available at wiveteranschamber.org.
